Protect, Enhance and Improve.
Kirlin provides protection to its customers by building safe, workable environments. Our work with the Federal Government exemplifies our commitment to protection. We enhance the value of our clients by ensuring quality work that is not only well-designed but increases the efficiency of the workspace. And we improve the life of the people who ultimately use our hospitals, airports, schools and other structures, by creating efficient and comfortable buildings where professionals serve others.
Kirlin is a privately held group of construction companies that collectively specialize in Engineering and Design, Fabrication, Construction, Commissioning and Service. Our works extends throughout the United States and in select markets overseas.
Kirlin is composed of full service specialty contracting companies capable of performing any type of commercial, industrial and governmental construction and renovation projects. On any of these projects, we may serve as the construction manager, general contractor, mechanical contractor, fire protection and/or service contractor.
Our Leadership is nationally recognized. We employ experts in every field. Take a look at Kirlin and see where you fit in.
It all began in 1960 with one job in the basement of John J. “Buddy” Kirlin. Buddy’s legacy of outstanding work and first-rate customer service is still seen throughout Kirlin every day. It’s this dedication and tenacity of top-notch people that keep us one of the largest and most respected mechanical contractors in the United States. The company was then, and is now, a highly sought-after firm, with the talent and expertise to meet the commercial, industrial and federal construction needs of DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Wayne T. Day succeeded Buddy Kirlin as President and CEO. Along with his partner Michael Mack, Kirlin became one of the largest privately held mechanical construction companies in the United States. Under Wayne and Michael’s skillful leadership, the company expanded to the Carolinas, Florida and other east coast areas. We honor the legacy of both Day and Mack by offering the Wayne T. Day Scholarship Program to employees and their families. For more information of this program, please see our Community page.
Our overall Vision at Kirlin is to be prominently involved in reinventing the construction industry by integrating the best people with collaborative processes and leading-edge technology.
Our Mission is to protect, enhance and improve people’s lives.
