Plantation Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant – Upgrades

The project includes three aeration basins to be converted one at a time from mechanical aerators to fine bubble diffusers including blowers and stainless steel header pipe; the project also includes removal of accumulated sand and grit at the bottom of the aerators, sandblast and recoat all interior walls one basin at a time.
The work at the Regional WWTP includes installation of an aeration system comprising of four multi-stage centrifugal blowers, FRP suction piping, stainless steel piping and valves, fine bubble diffused aeration system, laboratory building, demolition and reconfiguration of existing administration building office space, and various instrumentation and control systems. Kirlin must maintain the operation of the plant while upgrading treatment system with very limited shutdown time
